Gavin has 25 years experience in advertising sales and marketing. Starting out in Cadburys working as sales executive, he then made the move into Outdoor Advertising where he built up over 20 years’ experience in OOH working in Sales, Franchise Development and media buying.
He began working for PML in Belfast in 1999, buying Outdoor Advertising for Belfast, Dublin and London agencies, then worked for Auto Trader as Business Development Manager for Ireland.
From there he joined Viacom Outdoor in 2004, growing the local and national bus, retail and roadside advertising business as Head of Sales for Northern Ireland before taking up the role of Franchise Manager looking after all contracts for CBS Outdoor who later became Exterion Media and now Global.
He was Commercial Director for Larne Football club 2017, the first fully professional football club in Northern Ireland, before launching Omega Outdoor who became the no.1 supplier of Large Format Digital advertising in Belfast City. All of which led him to 2024 when he utilised his career path to date to launch his own company, Outdoor Platform.
